Oktoberfest began in Munich in 1810. Harmonie German Club has been serving the Canberra community for more than 50 years. Two days, one beer hall, and a whole lot of oompah. Bring your mates, your family and your lederhosen.
Music, mayhem and a bit of medieval combat. Kids are welcome until 6pm both days.
Dress code: Dirndl and lederhosen encouraged. Come as you are and you’ll still fit in.
Sold securely through Humanitix. A small booking fee applies to each paid ticket and is shown on the card.
VIP Opening Ceremony, Friday 30 October. Doors 5:30pm in the Zeppelin Room. Seating is strictly limited with no walk-ins, so check the Humanitix page for availability.
Responsible service of alcohol. The club practises RSA at all Oktoberfest events, including the VIP Paket.
Bench-banging, stein-clinking, hat-wearing highlights from past years. Tap any photo to see it big.
Friday 30 October (gates 4pm to 11pm) and Saturday 31 October (gates 10am to 11pm) at Harmonie German Club, 49 Jerrabomberra Avenue, Narrabundah.
Absolutely. Families are welcome until 6pm on both days. Under 15s need a Kinder ticket: Friday is free, Saturday is $10, and both are valid until 6pm only.
Dirndl and lederhosen are encouraged, and the more committed the better. No costume is no problem. You will still get a seat and a stein.
A two-hour private session in the mezzanine overlooking the entertainment, with a Bavarian feast, full table service, a tap bier and house wine drinks package, a schnapps on arrival and a German party hat. Saturday sessions run at 2:00pm and 4:30pm and include Saturday entry. Both are currently sold out, but you can join the waitlist on Humanitix.
Friday night in the Zeppelin Room, with doors at 5:30pm. Expect a ceremonial keg tapping, German entertainment and a fully catered meal. Seating is strictly limited and there are no walk-ins.
